Jerkuh is a fine scripter, and you have Gotha in the clan, haven't you? He's a good scripter as well.

Still, Vikingr is also a client side mod. I really doubt the crosshair can be removed from the server only.

What's the point in removing the crosshair anyway? This is about class restrictions, not about nerfs, buffs or tweaks to the game, is it?

The way I experience frustrating from archers/crossbows, even though I'm one myself, is that they run away. Not as much the amount of them on the server, just the campyness and general frustration by the endless running..
I don't feel that this issue will be solved by really lowering the amount of crossbows on each team, but I do feel there will be less frustration by lowering it.
Thus I propose 8!

Indeed, and you can't reach a nearly naked Vaegir archer as infantry. Few days ago on VIllage I ran nearly the whole round behind that ******* archer...

What would be a appropriate set number for ranged units?

In procentage like 40-45% I guess. In set numbers: 8 prehaps.

Even if one team is stacked, the other resorts to mass archers, camps, and even though they lose, it's just plain annoying, whichever team you play on.

I can't stand for the annoying part - I do enjoy killing people who doesn't even know that they can run away when I hit them with my axe / sword :D

Well, I'm going to talk to get a fix on that Vaegir's on too much - and make every faction played about equally much, but don't expect anything. Will see what I can do!

We could use Vincenzo's admin tools. It uses percentage for archers. We could put it on 50% to see what happens?

Vincenzo's admin tools are quite outdated, they're made for.... 1.143? I still think the best option would be to script the percentage thingy to ENL mod.
