Forum links leading to Adverts
« on: September 20, 2013, 06:16:42 PM »
As the title says, i've notice at least one forum link leading to Online Dating Sites ( Show unread posts since last visit. ). Surely this isn't supposed to happen. Has this happened to anyone else?

Someone said an antivirus said that this website got malware. Maybe it's time for a serverscan?

Please teach me how to block :c

Today I had a strange tab open (adblock and noscript blocked everything, so I don't know what the site was about) after I checked this forum....

Once I had an ad popped out that had topless women when clicking on "Show unread posts since last visit".
Nedsat: he is so active that he managed to catch tomy online but not in Warband and invited him to play then he gets my vote.... and my axe.

According to a couple of randomly selected online scanners "forum.guardofistiniar.org" is clean, cf. http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/forum.guardofistiniar.org, http://scanurl.net/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.guardofistiniar.org%2Findex.php&uesb=Check+This+URL#results, http://quttera.com/detailed_report/forum.guardofistiniar.org and http://app.webinspector.com/public/reports/17244103

Got a warning for the header image, but this seems to be due to McAfee blacklisting hostr.co (others such as Norton consider hostr.co clean and did not blacklist it): cf. http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/hostr.co/files/n1drkby/ig3.png

Warning for some inline script, which based on some preliminary searches appears to be tied to google: http://www.UnmaskParasites.com/security-report/?page=forum.guardofistiniar.org (for further reading: http://encosia.com/3-reasons-why-you-should-let-google-host-jquery-for-you/)

No idea what the cause of this could be yet...

To protect the spacehands and officers of the Imperial Navy, the Emperor Gavin is equipped with 5 Turret Sandcasters, an efficient 9MW Meson Screen, 600 sensor decoys, and a hull over 5.3 centimeters thick of proven Bonded Superdense Armor.

Perhaps there is an anomaly among the fixes you made recently, Gavin?

Probably, but I don't really know where. Does anyone who got a malware warning have a screenshot / log entry of the warning or the reasons? If I can't find any solution, I will contact the SMF support or our website hoster, but I'd assume they would also need some idea what the problems could be tied to.
