Captain America, modern-day classic to be honest. By the end, I was just about ready to join the US Army.

Saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes yesterday. It was fucking EPIC!

At least the second part. The movie is clearly divided into two parts. The first one being a tear soaked "ape-drama".

The second part however, kicks major arse. Its like Braveheart. . . . with apes!

I really really loved it, saw it yesterday. Made me want to watch the other planet of the apes movies but i looked it up and it seems this was the first in a series of 4, can't wait! :D

Saw Case 39 the other day. Pretty decent scary movie with the compulsory nasty demon girl.

The Ring (2002)

Great movie. Someone said it would be really scary, but meh, more like solving a mystery that drives the whole film.

Good watch, though

Not sure if it's actually available for viewing / sale anywhere. So far it seems to have only been shown at Film Festivals.

Super 8 was  such a disappointment. I thought I was in for an interesting scifi mystery treat, but instead I got my head filled with cheesy american crap!

Goddam that was awful! Typical of todays movies, great effects but mindnumbingly stupid. And those sentimental scenes, they could just about make me puke.

And why O why did they make all the main characters children? I hate movies with children. Gaaah!

The train wreck scene was epic though.

Yeah, I remember that scene, I was just like  :woot: . Better than everything I saw in 3D so far. Found the rest of the movie fairly entertaining, but I didn't really have high expectations.

That’s not easy.  I cannot find it showing anywhere and the dvd does not seem to be out.

As it is ½ term I have just seen Muppet Treasure Island for the 623rd time.  At least it has Tim Curry so it lasting better than Shrek and Toy Story ^^
